Farm of the Child is a ministry devoted to restoring the lives of orphaned children.
The mission of Farm of the Child is to care for and improve the physical, educational, spiritual and social needs of orphaned, abandoned and neglected children of Honduras so that they may become productive, Christian members of Honduran society. Farm of the Child is an orphanage, Catholic school, medical clinic and community outreach program serving one of the poorest regions in the western hemisphere. A typical family of campesinos (peasant farmers) has little or no land to farm, extremely limited education, and no opportunities to earn a decent living. Malnutrition is rampant and starvation is not unknown. Families are weakened by hunger and disease. In this society, the children are the ones who suffer most.
Please take this opportunity to learn how you can help the children in our care to experience the fullness of life God offers.

Make an Amazing Impact for a Dollar a Day
In order to stabilize our fundraising and ensure that we can meet the everyday needs of the children and families we serve, we are looking for some special donors to commit to Doing aDollar a Day.
If we can find a thousand committed Dollar a Day Donors, we will have what it takes to meet our basic needs each year. If you are able to be a leader in this initiative and commit just ONE DOLLAR A DAY, please click here. Your daily sacrifice of one dollar will make a lasting impact in the life of a child.

I pray for the following…
Lord Jesus, protector of orphans and all who depend on you, as we begin this day we turn our hearts towards you. We give thanks for the gift of your great love and for the chance to serve you in all that we do today.
We ask that your grace and mercy be poured out on our beloved Farm of the Child, on our children, on our house parents, on our Franciscan sisters, on our volunteers past, present, and future, on our board members, on our support personnel, on our benefactors, and on all whom we serve in Honduras through our various ministries. AMEN.
