Why did you decide to serve the mission at Farm of the Child?

I first heard of Farm of the Child in 2023. I was in awe of its mission but quickly decided that it wasn’t for me. You may be wondering, “How did she end up as a current missionary for the Finca?” Good question! This can be explained by one person; God! Throughout my life, I have been inspired to go on mission in Honduras, open an orphanage, protect children’s innocence, learn Spanish, and live on the beach. Over this past year, I felt God was guiding, changing, and preparing my heart specifically for His will to serve His children at the Finca. During this preparation time, I feel like He placed each of these things on my heart and wrapped the Finca up with a pretty bow and gave it to me. I am filled with joy to say yes to His call and be a part of the Finca community.
