2026 Spring Break Immersion Trip Contest

Essay: “Why do you want to experience mission and service with Farm of the Child?”

Prize includes: Airfare, meals, lodging, and all on-site immersion experiences

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older by the start of the trip

  • Must have or acquire a valid passport

  • Must be able to participate for the full duration of the immersion trip

  • Only one submission per person

Deadline: All submission due by January 6, 2026. Winner will be notified by January 10, 2026

Our hope for these immersion experiences is for participants to encounter a culture and way of living different from their own, walking away with a broader worldview and an integrated understanding of their faith as a part of who they are and how they act for a more just and peaceful world. We especially hope this introduction may help clarify how individuals feel called to serve in the short and long term or as a benefactor to the mission.

Contest Application

Prize Description:
One (1) winner will receive a trip taking place only during the specified week announced as part of this contest. No alternative dates, substitutions, or extensions will be offered.

  1. Non-Transferable & No Cash Value:
    The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value. No cash or other prize substitutions will be made.

  2. Redemption Window:
    The prize must be used during the designated week. If the winner is unable to travel during that time for any reason, the prize will be forfeited and no alternate prize will be awarded.

  3. Eligibility & Availability:
    By entering, participants confirm that they are available and able to travel during the specified week and meet any eligibility requirements outlined by the organizer.

  4. Expenses Not Included:
    Any expenses not explicitly stated as included in the prize (including but not limited to travel documents, insurance, personal spending money, or incidentals) are the sole responsibility of the winner.

  5. No Guarantee of Rescheduling:
    Under no circumstances will the trip be rescheduled, rebooked, or exchanged for another experience.

  6. Acceptance of Terms:
    Participation in the contest constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  7. Organizer Rights:
    The organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest if circumstances beyond their control make fulfillment of the prize impossible.
