Why did you decide to serve the mission at Farm of the Child?

Growing in deeper relationship with God and inspired by St. Gianna, I was led to consider mission during my junior year of college. Not long after, I found the Finca online and my heart was captured by the beauty and simplicity of its mission. Upon visiting in 2025, I experienced firsthand what I had only felt at a distance: peace, joy, laughter, play, adventure, love. All of these things radiated from the Finca. I admired how the missionaries and staff loved the children, built authentic relationships with the local community, and practiced bringing the presence of Christ into daily life. It sets my heart on fire to have the opportunity to invest everything I have into this finca-family! I am beyond grateful to be able to serve on this mission and excited for the adventure to come!
