Read MoreWhile Honduran Independence day is in September, the Finca community had an amazing weekend celebrating with it's United States resident for the 4th of July! The celebration was marked with a party on the beach complete with music and baseball.
Our children also had the chance for a couple of excursions to a local pool and museum this month. We love any opportunity to learn more and have fun together!While they were with us they hosted a party for our community complete with barbecue, piñatas and music. We are grateful for the work that they were able to accomplish and healing they were able to bring to our neighbors.
Read MoreIn early June we welcomed a Medical Brigade called Mountain Medics International joined us as they served those in the mountains surrounding us. Their mission facilitates overseas medical and dental mission trips focused on improving the health and quality of life of mountain communities that provide a home to some of our world’s poorest and under-served populations.
