Christmas at the Farm is full of Celebrations starting with Posadas, depicted below. The word Posada means 'lodging' or 'inn' and is traditionally a religious celebration honoring the birth of baby Jesus. It was created as a re-telling of the story of how Mary and Joseph were looking for a place to stay in the days leading up to the birth of Jesus. At the Finca, the children walk from house to house asking for room in the inn and finally arriving at the final destination (pictured below). This happens for the 8 days leading up to Christmas and the children take turns playing Mary and Joseph. It's a special time of preparation in our hearts for the Celebration that is Christ arriving on Christmas day.

Christmas Day was full of celebration, delicious foos and an appearance from Papá Noel (Santa) who personally delivered presents to all the children!
