Why did you decide to serve the mission at Farm of the Child?
I have felt a call to serve the under-served for quite some time. After my course in community health, I remember thinking that the skills I learned as a nurse can be utilized for the good of others. After stumbling upon an ad for the Finca in a booklet from a conference, I was struck by the spirituality of the mission. I was moved by the teamwork and community aspect of this particular mission. I am excited to serve as a nurse at Finca and to support the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of a child. I am excited to live in communion with others who want to do the same. Christ’s call is to love my neighbor as He loves them, and I'm excited to do this in a new way!
