For the past two years, I have volunteered in the U.S. as a Lasallian Volunteer. It was an amazing experience in which I learned so much. I honestly thought that after I completed my two years volunteering in Philadelphia, I would go to grad school. But, somehow, it just didn\'t seem right. I struggled with whether or not to get a job or volunteer. When I found the Finca and learned that it was a possibility to volunteer there, my heart was filled with excitement and a desire that I hadn\'t felt about any other option. The Finca seems to encompass many parts of my life that are important to me, those being a desire to give human diginity and a sense of belonging to those who have a hard time finding it, love, family, and community, all of which are based in a strong faith in God. There were so many signs that volunteering at the Finca was the right thing for me to do in my life right now, and I am so happy and hopeful to have the oppurtunity.
