We wanted to connect with our brothers and sisters across the globe. We wanted not just and opportunity to learn another language, but also to experience the values of another culture and to offer and receive what is best about each of ours. We wanted to challenge ourselves to manifest the ideals of social justice. We looked forward to working side by side with each other and to have our living and working be intentional. This is a unique opportunity to set an example for our children and to give them a lifelong gift of learning, love, diligence, respect, justice, and mercy. |

No one is an island. Every person affects the lives of others each day, whether inadvertently or intentionally. Here, at the Farm, we live an intentional life of service striving to offer a positive alternative to a life of neglect and apathy. We try to provide a stable life and a solid education to those Honduran children that eneter our gates. In our ten years of existence we have definitely made differences in the lives of our children and our surrounding community members. As long as we attempt to make the most Christlike decisions possible, we will continue to grow and be the difference that is so desperately needed. |
