Indubitably, the Farm makes a difference. Sincerely, the Farm creates a loving community and family in which each member of the community here, not only the children, can grow in faith, hope, and love through God\'s grace. Hearts are opened in generosity, values are (little by little!) instilled, and we learn to live in peace with one another amidst great diversity. Our schools provide an excellent education to those who otherwise might not have such an opportunity to develop their unique talents and gifts to improve their lives and the lives of those around them. The Farm also stands as a witness to the surrounding community of the inbreaking of the Reign of God in our world today. We may be small, and we still falter, but It\'s a start.

My highest moments take me by surprise whether I\\\'m singing along at Tema with happy children, nuns, and mosquitos, or walking across the campo before dinner. It suddenly hits me how beautiful this life is and how lucky I am to be a part of a community of people gathered together for the common purpose to be the loving family for children who don\\\'t have them. These moments are beautiful ones in which I can feel at least a fraction of the gratitude I owe for being given so many blessings.
