Sustainable projects designed to obtain long-term results develop as needs are identified in the local community. The focus of our community outreach programs is to involve our children and adults in the surrounding communities in a daily and ongoing way that fosters community growth and development. Each department of the Farm (education, social work, construction/maintenance, spiritual life, etc.) has a community outreach component to ensure that outreach to the communities is an integral part of our mission. Departmental outreach programs include teacher training workshops for local school teachers, construction assistance for local families, weekly Communion services in rural villages, sacramental catechesis for neighboring children and adults, and much more.
