The Farm of the Child just celebrated 10 years since its foundation Vincent Pescatore (who died in a plane accident in 1996) and His wife, Zulena.

From its beginning, the Lord has manifested his will in this project, giving them the strength to overcome all of the difficulties that presented themselves.

The presence and support of Bishop Virgilio Lopez (who passed away in 2004) was a great factor in confirming the goodness and necessity of this work. without forgetting the generous dedication of the volunteers from the United States of America and all those who collaborated with the Diocese of Trujillo.

Farm of the Child is not only a home for children in need, but also a domestic church, where the Catholic faith is taught, celebrated and shared. In the heart of the Farm there is a catholic school that offers services not only to the children of the Farm, but also to those of neighboring villages.

As Bishop of Trujillo, I give thanks to the Lord to be able to count on this work within our diocese and it is with great satisfaction that I am able to support the Farm, however humbly.
